    Players seem to like him. I'm sure he's "great in the clubhouse" I didn't think the Rays probably valued that very much Maybe he was a good match with Maddon in that role Who knows

    No love for Cedric Mullins yet I see Trout won't be able to play in the ASG And Mullins has been better than every other OF except Buxton Guessing he hasn't "earned" the name recognition yet that a guy like Judge gets

    After this weekend, in all of baseball, Vlad is: 1st in WAR (4.1 WAR in 63 games LOL) 1st in wRC+ (203, second place is 184) 1st in wOBA 3rd in batting average (but still 1st in the AL) 1st in RBI (now 6 ahead of 2nd place Devers) 1st in HR (now *2* HR ahead of anyone else) - corrected 1st in OPS And he's playing a good fist base 40% of the way through the season he's easily been the best player in baseball

    Yeah Half a down season for Soto is meaningless Pretty hard to pick among Soto, Tatis and Guerrero Jr at this point
