  1. Yeah, they don't need to fix it "for the Blue Jays", I didn't meanit that way More just for the integrity of the game. What the Blue Jays need to do is improve the starting pitching.
  2. It would be fine if we had good HR hitters (which we do) AND a starting staff that gave up preferentially ground balls over fly balls (which we don't). But this starting staff combined with this park is an ugly combination this year.
  3. They need some engineers to figure it out. Seriously.
  4. Should they move the fences back a bit? Can they??? Is the enough room for the dugouts without major renovations?
  5. Rogers Centre on http://www.hittrackeronline.com/stadiums.php 2012: 204 HR in 81 games = 2.52/game 2013: 166 HR in 56 games = 2.96/game It was already bad. Now it's worse. Orioles Park and Rogers Centre have by FAR the most HR/game of any park in baseball.

  7. Wow that was a beautiful play by Lawrie. One of his best.
  8. Goddamit We can't win with pitching
  9. Good job by the offense Please Gibbons, recognize that Rogers is done and go to the pen next inning
  10. Esmil Rogers gets the Oakland bats out of a slump...
  11. Really? Wow. Course when your BA is .325 or whatever he is the OBP is still good
  12. Yep. Think so. Hutch ready??? (I know he's not, unfortunately)
  13. Yep 3-0 with nobody out in the first Could be a long night...
  14. Yep. It was so satisfying seeing Jose Valverde start to stink for the same reason.
  15. Dammit I liked the first 3 pitches from Rogers Then hard hit ball and a walk. Blech.
  16. I'm not sure. Cause Lawrie covers so much of the corner, I don't know that moving Reyes to 2B would help overall that much.
  17. I forgot there was someone worse in that department...
  18. I have no problem with a 2014 bench that includes DeRosa. I like the versatility that he and Izturis provide. An upgrade at 2B with those two on bench would be fine with me.
  19. First full game I'll have watched in about 2-3 weeks. Go Jays! (And Hutch)
