More just for the integrity of the game.
What the Blue Jays need to do is improve the starting pitching.
It would be fine if we had good HR hitters (which we do) AND a starting staff that gave up preferentially ground balls over fly balls (which we don't).
But this starting staff combined with this park is an ugly combination this year.

I have no problem with a 2014 bench that includes DeRosa. I like the versatility that he and Izturis provide. An upgrade at 2B with those two on bench would be fine with me.
