    Same thing exactly. Tantalizing performance capabilities. Fails to deliver too often and fails to stay healthy Iong enough to be dependable.

    For sure. He might make a good closer. but yeah - we'd be even more nervous than when Santos goes out there.

    Exactly Though I'd be willing to pay his buyout and try to sign him back for less $ Don't know if he would go for that. Depends on what else he can get from other teams. But I agree - no way AA goes for that 10M option unless he miraculously comes back and pitches well this year.

    The biggest problem with Morrow is WRT your planning If you start the season presuming he's going to give you 160-180 IP and then he tanks in May or June his presence is detrimental to your plans. That has now happened twice. I suspect even if he is kept that AA won't get fooled again. You have plan on another starter in his place next year even if you keep him Ug. I didn't explain that well but I suspect people will understand what I mean. We needed Ervin Santana or equivalent this year and Morrow's presence put less pressure on AA to get it done. Make sense?
