  1. He was showing pretty good command up until this year too. That's insane, he hasn't given up FEWER than 3 walks in an appearance this year, including one in which he got NO outs and one where he got ONE out.
  2. That doesn't mean he doesn't deserve to go though. Anyhow, I think Fielder will be more of a block than Davis or Ortiz will, as will Pujols and Teixeira (whether deserved or not). Unfortunately, I think EE is listed on the AS Ballot as a DH rather than 1B as well, which may hurt him.
  3. IF Olt's drop in numbers (and range) this year are due to an injury he's playing through (which is likely), and IF we think he can stick at 3rd, then something like Rasmus for Olt (as the principals) could be pretty intriguing. Would free up Gose for the OF, and Lawrie could move to 2nd when Olt came up.
  4. We can complain about Bautista's blowups all we like, but he IS 9th in the AL in WAR so far this year. EE is top 30, while 2nd in home runs and 3rd in rbi. I don't know how you can justify either not deserving to go.
  5. If you don't sign a player, then you lose the money allocation for that slot.
  6. Out of curiosity, where did Molina rank in pitch framing so far this year?
  7. I wonder if that holds, whether the top teams in 3-0 and 3-1 counts also have catchers leading in framing (on average).
  8. Is it, or are umps less likely to give borderline pitches if the pitcher doesn't show command?
  9. You can use Google's DNS server temporarily (or permanently if you choose), and it has the new server correct. Their DNS is 8.8.8.8 I think. Neither my ISP's or OpenDNS have updated yet
  10. The funny thing is the one guy who didn't seem overly upset was Greinke. He looked like he asked the catcher if it was intentional, was told no, and was ready to take his base.
  11. That second one to Puig didn't look intentional (imo), but that last one to Greinke definitely was. Right at the head too, he's incredibly lucky he just barely got the shoulder up to deflect it. That's the kind of idiocy that can end careers (and lives). I hope Kennedy gets a good long suspension for that.
  12. Looks like League lost the closer's job.
  13. I wonder why both benches weren't warned after the first retaliation (especially if it's up at the head). What kind of pitch was it that hit Puig?
  14. Well, Sale lost his only start against us, so you never know (he pitched well though).
  15. Casey had better not put another one there to Dunn... Got away with it big time.
  16. That is a horribly ugly delivery by Troncoso. Nothing like preventing your legs from helping you.
  17. Uggghhh. If he will just stop chasing once he gets to 3 balls his walk rate and average will be normal.
  18. Just as a note, Juiced may be able to verify the picks and time they were made at.
  19. Probably not. My isp hasn't updated it's dns server yet, so I was stuck on it. I had to change my dns provider to opendns (google's works too) to get on the new site.
  20. There's some picks that are stuck back on the previous server. King and lettheballfly picked Edwin, I picked Bautista.
  21. Dodgers just screwed up 1st and 3rd with no one out, couldn't bring the run home to tie the game.
  22. League coughs up the save. How much longer can LA possibly let him give up late runs out there?
  23. Or maybe we can just watch fastballs straight down the pipe.
