I'd be upset with all of this myself if it wasn't for JPA's antics recently with Zaun and Hayhurst, among other things. Right now I think he's getting exactly what he deserves.

The Rays have already gone through 8 position players and 11 pitchers in that game. There really should be some kind of rule in September that you can only pick 25 players each game who can actually PLAY in the game that day.

Someone in the bullpen threw it. Colby was just trotting out, had no idea it was coming. The weird play at 3rd yesterday, this today. Amazing.

JP isn't fixable until he gets his head out of his ass and acknowledges he needs to change. I really love everything I've read about how Mottola works with the hitters.

They might have one of the best AAA rotations ever there next year. Hopefully they can find some bats.

I think Happ has just over 4 years mlb service and an option, so we should be able to send him down if we want to. I think that's actually the reason we paid him more to hang around, was under the understanding that we might be sending him down as depth but paying him as if he was a full time starter up here. Good deal for both him and us in that sense.

I'd love to see Reyes be a little more troublesome over there at third. Make a few Kawasaki like bluffs, etc, and really get in Hughes head.

The thing is, JPA just needs to accept that he's really bad at this point, and go out and work hard to fix his issues rather than complaining about all the negativity. He really DOES seem to have the talent to do it if he wants to.

Melky wasn't healthy, Edwin has had issues on and off all year, last year Escobar and Johnson could barely jog for half the season. They really weren't healthy. I dunno about JPA.

It's funny, a pitcher has the smallest ache in their arm and they're on the DL for 2 months. Our position players can barely walk and they're allowed to try and play through it...

He looked good. Nice smooth compact delivery, and calm on the mound. He was letting the ball do its thing rather than trying to blow it past everyone.
