  1. Yeah, and shots. If he gets moved to a *real* team, he's going to be a beast. I'm really sad to trade him (I had no intention of doing it), but I felt this was a deal I would regret saying no to. Now I'm really hoping Lazar misses a few games this year so I don't have to protect him on my 15 keeper list in the off-season.
  2. I think LaCava somehow managed to say less than AA usually does.
  3. I can't believe Hansbrough didn't get a technical there.
  4. And he got 1.5M if he makes the club and 1.5M in incentives. Yikes.
  5. That was a great move too.
  6. Lots of them are apparently already there. The mandatory dates for pitchers and catchers is the 22nd, and for position players the 26th. First workout is a day after those dates.
  7. Moncada is probably going to cost the equivalent of 15M / year over 6 years (or more) too, and regardless of how talented he is, still carries the same kind of risk all prospects do. I'm not sure it would make sense for us to do that anyway.
  8. Apparently he's not going to lead off next year, and will be put in better RBI positions. If true, I think we'll see his fantasy value improve quite a bit. I expect his power numbers will also improve.
  9. It only took JFaS and I about an hour (ignoring the sarcasm), and there were 4 teams with almost no one on their rosters plus Orgfiller and Spittin, who are nuts.
  10. I sure didn't expect Lombardozzi's career to nose dive like it has. He might have actually been a nice fit for us, especially for the price.
  11. If he's getting a contract in that range, we had better be asking Rogers for some extra payroll space.
  12. Maybe just make it Friday / Saturday / Sunday
  13. Interesting. I think I like your side (but then I'm in a prospect phase right now).
  14. Wow, he must have said something pretty nasty.
  15. Horrible defense to start the game.
  16. Well, I'm glad we didn't sign him for that.
  17. I wish my record was closer to my expected record. I'd actually prefer the higher draft pick this year.
  18. Pitchers and Catchers, Feb 22nd, Position players Feb 26th (2nd latest in the league)
  19. Well, the entertainment factor is certainly legit in this one.
  20. No, I don't think it's a significant factor holding him back this year. Someone will cough up 4 years and 70 million, if not more. One year older and the risk of injury wouldn't outweigh the small amount more he might be able to get imo.
  21. I thought for sure with my prospect team, I'd be one of the bottom 3 in the league. I have no idea how I'm 13th right now. If I hadn't done the Nichuskin (been injured all year) for Anderson swap and actually had the 2nd goalie, I'd probably be in a playoff position. I still like the trade long term though.
  22. Could you post the final deal here when it happens? I've had some strong interest in Carpenter in the BBDL, and I'm curious what he goes for.
  23. It's also possible the Jays doctors found something they didn't like.
  24. You never know why guys back out. This was rather interesting: http://www.sportsnet.ca/hockey/nhl/wayne-gretzky-vancouver-canucks-new-york-rangers-toronto-maple-leafs-pat-quinn/
  25. I had no issues with losing d'Arnaud in the deal, and I still don't. I did however have a problem with losing Syndergaard, and I still do.
