  1. I expect Martin to get around 5/70 (14 per). As for trading Navarro, I think you look at the Dodgers (add Happ or Estrada and get Van Slyke?) or perhaps the Mariners straight up for Saunders.
  2. I know AA doesn't like incentives, but Melky really is the perfect situation for one. Do something like 5/40 with incentives that bring it up to 5/70 or something.
  3. Didn't he have surgery on his knees in the offseason? It'll be interesting to see if it helps.
  4. Doesn't look like a lot to like there. Axford and McPherson. Jason Lane who could fill a mop up bullpen role as well as extra bat off the bench could be mildly interesting. Wilmer Font for the pen!
  5. Nothing like getting 5 blocks from a forward
  6. I thought this was a rather interesting quote from the link: He kind of sounds like an AA clone.
  7. Open to offers. Need to free up some roster space though.
  8. Anyone have interest in Berglund, Ryder, or Conacher?
  9. That was almost an airball from the ft line
  10. I'm almost starting to feel sorry for them. I bet JV isn't though.
  11. Yeah, to avoid Carpenter 2.0, we held onto McGowan. Sometimes it works out, sometimes it doesn't.
  12. I wonder if we could see the Jays trade Buehrle and add multiple free agents that cost picks, then go nuts in the IFA market next year instead?
  13. I think there was actually some recent reports that their TV deal could be in some trouble, and they might be looking to cut some payroll if possible.
  14. Right with you
  15. Ha ha, no sweep for you!
  16. I don't think they were flopping on those two possessions. I think they were legit fouled that hard.
  17. Only when Mia is ahead by a bunch. As soon as it gets close ...
  18. What makes the quote interesting is the fact that they may have a 1st baseman / DH in mind this offseason (Billy Butler maybe?)
  19. Keep in mind that the Jays get a large amount of their "official" revenue in USD (possibly half).
  20. This is getting ugly.
  21. Some interesting quotes in Shi's column yesterday: http://www.sportsnet.ca/baseball/mlb/lind-deal-one-piece-of-a-developing-puzzle/
  22. If I remember right, I think AA made reference to something about injured players and steering away from them at the end of last year.
  23. I think I'm going to get swept this week.
  24. Also, for whatever it's worth (which might be negative), MLBTR has us taking home Melky, Lowrie, and K-Rod this offseason.
  25. Looks like the Jays re-signed Korecky as well.
