The average wRC+ for all catchers last year was 87, so that shouldn't be such a big issue. I would like to see a good game caller though, preferably at least an average framer as well who doesn't let baserunners go wild and will get down to block a pitch.

Dunno, I'm not sure we'd have to eat too much. I could see the Rangers or Astros being a possible fit. Smoak + something for Aoki would rock, especially since they signed Reddick and Beltran, and may not have too many at-bats for him.

I'd love to pick up Rupp in a trade. Seems like a fit too, since it would free the Phillies up to give Alfaro the full time job with Knapp as the backup. Not sure what it would cost.

Hard to blame them? If you can't be faithful, don't get married, or break up with the gf before you would cheat. There's no excusing or rationalizing that kind of behavior.

I kinda feel like Morales will probably out-perform Trumbo over the next three years (home runs aside). Not a bad deal for the O's though (probably).

Feliz wasn't much above average last year (and that's giving him some benefit of the doubt by not looking at WAR). He was also terrible in the 2nd half. It's probably a fair deal, and a fantastic opportunity for him, but I'm really not shocked that he was still unsigned.

Barnes and Dermody have put up some stupidly good numbers in the minors the last two years. They're probably not much different than most of what's left on the open market, except they'll cost the min. That said, I'd love to nab Romo or Shawn Tolleson before the Rays agreement gets finalized, and of course Holland.

LF is questionable, but the rest of the lineup should be very, very good. Adding someone like Moss would be incredible, but that's a lineup that should be able to compete.

If his bat bounces back and he returns to 4 to 6 WAR, I don't care if he's in the OF. 1B would be ideal, but he's miles ahead of all the other available options. Signing Moss too for LF would make it even better.

Interesting, apparently Rosenthal is going to be stretched out this spring, but to be used in an Andrew Miller type role rather than the starting rotation.
