  1. I guess also, since it's a 1 for 1 trade, we can just both protect those guys and then do the trade after the draft.
  2. Bump. We can't do the trade ourselves since Yahoo doesn't let us until the draft is done I believe.
  3. Yeah, I think it'll be Bolsinger and Sparkman too (although we could run with an 8 man pen early on perhaps). My preference would be Biagini and Dermody.
  4. I don't see why the players would object at all. I could see some of the umpires being unhappy depending on how it was implemented. If it was done in a way that assisted them without upstaging them, most probably wouldn't have too big an issue with it.
  5. Supposedly he turned down bigger offers (one of which may very well have been us).
  6. It'll really hurt anyone who sinks the ball. This change could actually make a huge difference on the game itself, and the value of certain kinds of players.
  7. You probably wouldn't see them. The umps would still be present, they'd just have the calls relayed to them instantly. As an intermediary, they might have glasses that overlay the strike zone and where the ball crosses to help them out.
  8. No kidding! Exciting game though, especially when you don't care who wins and are just enjoying it.
  9. That million dollar bet that people were talking about on the Falcons is looking pretty good lol.
  10. To FS: Schimpf To Abomination: Panik Someone will have to do the Yahoo trade manually, we can't offer or accept them until the draft I think.
  11. Didn't Clemens account for a massive chunk of the Astros salary one year?
  12. We do this in the BBDL also. If I remember right, the first year we had some people who got knocked out in the playoffs then try to tank to improve their draft position slightly. Regular season records were the easy fix.
  13. We need the waiver lottery results also.
  14. There should probably be some kind of N/A instead of 101, or it skews guys like Bell who had too many plate appearances for our rankings.
  15. Coghlan the last 2 years has been a well above average LF, and average RF. He's below average at 2B, but he'd be a backup option there, not full time. He did hit .188, but had a lot of bad luck with a .235 BABIP (career .307). He hit much better in the second half after getting out of Oakland. He was an ideal fit for us with Moss off the table. Cheap, lefty bat, good LF defender with some flexibility.
  16. I think Renfroe could settle into more of a Gattis type offensive profile in the majors, but with better defense and slightly higher babip. Maybe .270/.310/500 type range with a handful of SB.
  17. I agree, but the one real issue for Renfroe is the walk rate (lack of). Winker could have a higher ceiling though if he puts things together and starts hitting for more power again.
  18. Maybe top 150, but guys who hit .231 and slug .344 in A ball don't get people fapping too easily in fantasy. He's got a long way to go to turn that around right now imo.
  19. A super utility role is honestly a perfect fit for him imo (maybe sans CF depending on his reads).
  20. With some good luck health wise, we could be better. Liriano >> Dickey, Pearce << Edwin, Morales > various guys at 1B/DH who aren't Edwin, LF ~= Saunders once defense is factored in (I'm considering Pearce 1B primarily), Cecil >> Howell, MiLB bullpen options > last year's. Bautista, Martin, Stroman, and Travis should have better years as well, Estrada and Sanchez probably worse.
  21. Winker's walk rate is nice, but last year was quite a step back for him in other categories (power in particular). If he doesn't pick that up, he's basically an average/obp guy with little speed.
  22. I don't like the order of a few of the top end pitchers (I think Glasnow should be higher, De Leon and Kopech quite a bit lower). All in all though, I think this is an extremely strong list.
  23. Probably, but no way Boras would agree to that.
  24. Too bad you can't have notifications for PMs or Fantrax/Yahoo emails go straight to your phone too. Oh, wait ...
