  1. I don't remember. I mostly just wanna know what my waiver pick number is, as it could be top 3, and that might affect who I'm willing to drop.
  2. Can we sort out the draft and waiver picks before the cutdown date? It would help with some of the decisions (and trades).
  3. I think at this point we have to accept that something in Smoak's advanced stats has the organization believing that he will break out, and want to give him the chance to do so. With the contracts some of the other options seem to be looking at, it's really the only explanation.
  4. The first thing I thought of when I saw those pictures was Steve Urkel. Good job Stro!
  5. Guys in my current cut list: Heaney Shelby Miller Gomes Rua Gennett Dozier Melvin Upton Will Harris Cingrani Ziomek I might decide to keep Heaney, haven't decided for sure yet (he'd cost more in trade). The other guys I'd be fine with waiver or MiLB pick upgrades. Would also be willing to trade one or two of my SP I'm keeping (probably not Sanchez or Harvey though). Biggest need is a good young outfielder.
  6. Yeah, bench has to be yelling at Kyle there to warn him though. Plenty of blame on that one.
  7. Romo would be awesome, but yeah, I don't expect him in that price range.
  8. Damn, what a day to be out all day
  9. What were the MiLB mandatory promotion rules again? Is it 500 PA and 26x?
  10. I'm missing Adam Frazier. Thanks for updating stuff!
  11. Not to mention Liriano over Dickey.
  12. It's hard to believe that Harper just turned 24...
  13. From 2011 to 2015, Robertson was the 5th most valuable (WAR) relief pitcher in baseball. He was 7th among qualifying pitchers in xFIP over that time span. Now that excludes a few guys who became relievers in the last couple years (like Britton), but he is very much more than just a sexy name. Last year he had a knee issue, which likely was the cause of loss of fastball command, and correspondingly worse numbers. His velocity was still there.
  14. If their processes and policies were that weak, they should have been changed/updated a LONG time ago. The Cards probably did them a favor, before some real hacker got in and started changing things for fun... The picks should just go away, and the Cards should lose all international bonus pool or something for a year or two.
  15. I don't understand why Houston is being rewarded in this. It sounds like this guy basically just knew (or easily guessed) some of the passwords, and/or his were never removed when he left. That's terrible process and policy. Any reasonable person with an inkling of security knowledge would never let that happen. Should Correa be banned for life, and should the Cards be fined / lose picks? Absolutely. Houston shouldn't be rewarded for stupidity though.
  16. Smallish sample sizes, but his stuff is soooo inconsistent. One year a pitch is good, the next it's batting practice. He does seem to have good movement on the fastball, and if he converts to relief he could possibly sit mid 90s with the potential for a plus secondary pitch. I wonder if he'll be SP depth, or convert to the pen? MiLB contract regardless, so no downside.
  17. The save% is too small a sample size to mean anything. The difference in xFIP is concerning, however it appears to be related directly to a loss of command of his fastball. Velocity is right where it should be, although fastball movement was down a little. I don't really see a likely issue pointing to decline, just fastball command issues for whatever reason (probably his knee issues last year). That said, I wouldn't want to give up much given his salary. Maybe we could send Smoak (to make the salary more digestible) plus a mid-range prospect or something.
  18. He's likely much better than those guys if played in the outfield, probably similar to Napoli if played at 1B. Seems he wanted to stay in the St. Louis / KC area. I have to think he probably turned down stronger offers, because that's a steal for KC.
  19. This would be the easiest solution right now imo. Hopefully in the future it's set to dynasty, then only the offseason trades need to be updated.
  20. Eddie Butler was designated for assignment. He'd be an interesting guy to take a shot on. Would provide us with some SP depth, and the talent is there for a lot more.
  21. We need to get the draft orders set too.
  22. Lol, I didn't mean the NJH name, but the "CandidSmoggyGermanshorthairedpointer" file name.
  23. ANY OTHER site? I saw the name and refused to click on it from THIS site.
  24. Well, defense is a thing, it's not just about offense. Typically guys who don't play high level defense don't get rated highly in the lists (these aren't fantasy lists). Klaw also has very specific things he looks for in prospects, much more so than other evaluators it seems. If a prospect doesn't have them, he doesn't rate them well no matter what anyone else says. He's missed on a number of higher profile guys because of his stubbornness.
  25. Can we also add trade blocks to the sheet?
