    Bat speed was fine. He got under it a little (33 degree launch angle). It was a home run in 4 parks.

    It's interesting. His numbers are basically in line with his career (tiny bit more power), but the league has been so bad in general that it actually makes him slightly above average this year. If he can continue doing that, it makes it a good signing even coming off the bench.

    I don't think the ball had anything to do with it. I think he's focused so much on making sure he never swings at anything outside the zone that he's basically taking emergency swings and not letting it rip. I think someone will be able to fix him, but given that we're very much in the playoff hunt in spite of what has felt like an incredibly agonizing season, we don't have the luxury of doing it ourselves.

    What's the record for the most innings where both teams haven't scored? These would be the two teams to threaten it.

    He almost got away with it, but it was a bad decision. A single and attempting to steal 2nd might have made sense depending on what kind of move the lefty has.
