  1. Not a strike, but that's been called all night for both teams.
  2. If Goldy had caught that, he would have had 2 anyway. He played himself into only getting 1.
  3. The Jays have hit 5 balls in excess of 100mph exit velocity so far. There's been some pretty hard contact.
  4. I wonder if Judge actually spotted something with Seranthony or if he was trying to get into his head.
  5. I think that ball caught Volpe more than him catching it.
  6. He threw 20 pitches last night, so I doubt it. 2 innings would be fantastic though!
  7. Great inning. With that low a pitch count, you have to think he'll be coming back out even after pitching last night.
  8. Sure would have been nice to add another there, but great first inning!
  9. Schneider was lined up the same as Barger was when that ball took off. Honestly, I'm not sure he catches it either. I agree though, if the infielder is going to call off the outfielder forcefully like that, they'd damn well better catch it no matter what.
  10. What do you mean "what is the strategy"? It's a 1 run game in the 5th.
  11. The bat speed for Judge to hit that like he did is just insane.
  12. What the hell happened there? Schneider wasn't on it either.
  13. Even the streakers can't avoid getting clobbered by guys in blue.
  14. Both these teams know this is a best of 5 and not best of 3, right?
  15. It might make sense to carry a speed guy for the next series, maybe Loperfido.
  16. I feel like someone in the stats department is running the numbers on IKF from his career and not the last 2 seasons when he lost the ability to hit lefties. Otherwise, this lineup seems fine.
  17. Was that old tin of cards yours? :) We used to play all the time when I was in high school. I still have mine somewhere. I know the dual mana cards used to be worth a good amount, but I never had any.
  18. That's not what they're saying. The Jays want him available to pitch after Gausman if necessary.
  19. I don't think they wanted to give the Yankees extra looks at our better relievers. Then again, they pitched Hoffman yesterday so maybe I'm being too generous.
  20. Well, this should help sort out the pen for the next series anyway (assuming we advance). It would be ideal to have someone like Scherzer or Bassitt to eat these innings.
