    I like this. Clase has elite speed and base stealing ability. If he can manage to hit at all, he could be a nice find. At worse, a cheap 4th outfielder with good situational utility might still be a nice get. I don't think we could reasonably expect a high end prospect for a non closer, even if they are a good one. Hopefully we didn't eat any money in the deal.

    The Phillies probably win in that they'll likely get better use of Hays than the O's will of Dominguez (I assume he'll take over LF with Marsh moving to CF). Dominguez wasn't getting high leverage opportunities with the Phillies. I'm not sure why he would fill a meaningful role with the O's. Pache is probably pointless. They'd have been better off paying $1M or so and getting Kiermaier who can at least steal a base along with the defense.

    I still remember them intentionally walking Bonds with the bases loaded rather than facing him.

    That swing had some seriously bad intentions! I haven't seen a Blue Jay swing that hard in a long time.

    So good to see Springer actually turning on balls again. 2 months ago that would have been a weak ground ball to 2nd.

    There's a good chance his problems at the plate are related to the injury and his unwillingness to miss games and deal with it before it became a bigger problem.

    The bats have looked a little better since they seem to have abandoned the hitting approach from earlier in the year. Guys are starting to actually hit the ball with some authority. It wouldn't surprise me.

    6th hardest hit ball this year. Vladdy also owns the 5th hardest hit.

    Kudos if it's true. Pretty creative way to avoid a PR disaster for her career if it isn't. Either way, it appears she handled it fairly well (after the fact).

    IKF probably isn't for us either. He's definitely wildly exceeded expectations though.

    The derby got off to a good start, but that was kind of disappointing. We need Joc, Vladdy, and Ohtani in there next year!

    Carter Cunningham actually seems kind of interesting too.

    Nick Anderson was designated. He'd be a good waiver claim for us IMO. Controllable for next year too.

    I'm glad we didn't pay him what he got, but he hasn't really been bad. He's been comfortably above average with no real warning flags. He's just overpaid.

    I can't believe Varsho came close to nabbing that! That would have been a catch of the year candidate if he had.

    I think the better cameras are only available at home for most (if not all) teams.

    The runner's trailing leg might have bounced up off the base prior to the "push"

    You have to think that might get Grisham DFA'd. He's probably been teetering on that border for a while now anyway.
