Shatkins has a lot of work to do in the offseason. Meanwhile Pearson (the one trade I didn't like at the deadline) has pitched to a 1.86 ERA and 0.621 WHIP since getting traded.
After the early season disaster of all defense and no bats, it feels like we're transitioning to all bats and no defense lol. Should be a lot more fun to watch though.
He's projected higher than that, and since a slump coming off injury he's been pretty hot (150 for July and 135 so far in August). In this new offensive environment, he's probably at least a top 60 ish bat.
