  1. Tomorrow is an off-day, so probably not as critical for them to do that. I'd imagine we could see some position players for the final two innings though (or is that allowed in the postseason?)
  2. You want your starter to average about 15 pitches an inning. Yesavage is right on that mark.
  3. How the hell did Clement hit that ball out? It was almost a one handed swing.
  4. Vladdy's single broke statcast that can't figure out the launch angle.
  5. Great start! No issue with walking Judge. Make someone else beat us.
  6. The Jays could sweep them and all they'll talk about is how the Yankees were the better team and got unlucky. Ignore it. They're telling their audience what they want to hear. This was a statement game and it's now up to the Yankees to respond to it on the field.
  7. This game really couldn't have gone any better. If tomorrow is a tight game, softening up the bullpen could pay big dividends.
  8. This. Hopefully he has a quick inning though.
  9. This is probably the right move at the right time.
  10. Well, that's not what you want to see.
  11. They can't give makeup calls next year.
  12. Yeah, and he has his best pitchers lining up for the other games. This move makes total sense.
  13. Realistically we should probably be intentionally walking him anyway, so I'm perfectly fine with an off-balance single.
  14. Lol, Horner with the major brain cramp. Pressure is a real thing.
  15. I think I would have put Springer in the field with Santander at DH. Can't really complain too much about the rest though.
  16. Yesavage can probably negate the short porch better than the other guys too just based on how his ball moves. That's a hell of an environment to throw him into though.
  17. Well, at least we get a slightly better time slot with the Yankees
  18. They might just let him finish it
  19. The good news is we have home field advantage.
  20. I'm surprised they left him in this long. A little better defense would have created a very different result that inning.
  21. Stanton getting thrown out there after showboating would have been glorious.
  22. He's locating pretty well. The Red Sox will definitely start catching up with it if he doesn't show something more though.
