  1. I'm okay with Hoffman finishing out this game. Hopefully he has a quick inning.
  2. I don't think I put Springer in the lineup tomorrow if I'm the Jays. He has no legs beneath him at all. Let him rest a few days and get him in there for the WS
  3. I have to think they were banking on Little's ability to miss bats and generate weak contact. The problem is he also missed the plate.
  4. Not really. Ernie would move to 2nd and Barger to 3rd. Straw would still come in to RF.
  5. I'm not sure you really want to go after Barger here instead of Clement. Barger has a very quick bat on the inside of the plate.
  6. After his performance in game 4, IMO Hoffman should be pitching the 8th. I think they'll give it to Dominguez though.
  7. They really should have someone warming up in case the offense has a quick inning again. You want your reliever to be fully warmed up.
  8. You'd have to think Varland for the rest of this inning and the 7th, then Dominguez and Hoffman for the 8th and 9th.
  9. Seems like both managers this series have learned something about pulling the starter early.
  10. Springer looked like he was in a lot of discomfort on the bench there.
  11. I think you have to pull him if he gets in any trouble next inning. I probably give him the chance to start the inning though.
  12. Both teams with drives off the top of the wall. The difference? Varsho backed up the play for ours!
  13. Barger cut down his swing a lot there. Great job by him.
