I don't think Carter lives in Toronto (unless that's from a hotel). -
Steckenrider (oops), Buttrey, Brebbia, Holland, and Zamora for me. Buttrey, Brebbia, and Holland have been fantastic. We won't talk about the other two. 3/5 isn't bad imo.

Apparently KD has a player option for 31.5M next year. Given that he may not play, or at least may not play for most of the year, there's now talk he may exercise it. Pressuring him to play could end up a VERY expensive decision for GS, unless they have insurance on his contract.

Why on earth would you have a pitcher throw an extended session before a day game that he was almost certain to be needed in? That seems like a good way to injure someone.

Man, we complain about the strike zone we get sometimes. You should see the pitches Price is being gifted in the first. They aren't even remotely close to the strike zone.

I love what I'm seeing with him out there. Both the bat and glove look legit, and he looks a hell of a lot more comfortable and relaxed.

Apparently he can't hurt it further by playing, so it's just dealing with the pain. I'd imagine in a finals playoff game, most players are more than willing to suck it up. If I'm the Raptors though, I'm attacking Klay early and often. Either expose him, or force a worsening of his injury. You don't want him getting hot from behind the arc. Dealing with Curry back there is bad enough.

Are you kidding? Next year we'll have lots of payroll space. If we loaded the contract at all, we should be front-loading it.

I'd have no issue with 5/75 for Stroman, and would probably be okay with something in the 5/80 or 5/85 range (maybe the extra via bonuses).
