1. Perez really changes up his delivery out there on the mound.
2. They said the game will continue "shortly". Still appears to be raining pretty good though.
3. This is what Rotogrinders said about our game today: Toronto Blue Jays Chicago White Sox 2:10 PM ET at Guaranteed Rate Field 9.5 o/u 76° Temp 0% Precip SSW Dir 5 mph

[TH][/TH]

[TH][/TH] 12 PM 1 PM 2 PM 3 PM 4 PM 5 PM 6 PM

[TH]Precipitation[/TH] 4% 3% 0% 3% 2% 3% 3%

[TH]Temperature[/TH] 67° 72° 76° 78° 78° 78° 79°

[TH]Humidity[/TH] 68% 60% 54% 51% 51% 51% 51%

[TH]Dewpoint[/TH] 57° 58° 59° 59° 58° 59° 59°

[TH]Wind[/TH] S 4 mph S 5 mph SSW 5 mph SSW 7 mph S 10 mph S 15 mph SSW 15 mph

4. Maile has given up trying to frame the knuckleball. Now he's just making sure he catches it
5. After all the bad calls he's gotten, Vladdy finally got one in his favor!
6. Lol, the ball boy almost fell on the ball trying to avoid it.
7. "Feierabend has one of the best pickoff moves in baseball." Something tells me he's had a lot of practice.
8. I bet if Vladdy was hit on the hand and was out for the year, you'd be cursing the coach for having him in there in a 10-2 game.
9. It's actually not as laughable as I would have thought, although it is most definitely wrong. When you take their primary fastball type (which is what they SHOULD be throwing most of), it's 97 wRC+ for Syndergaard and 104 for Sanchez. Sanchez HAS actually given up a lower wRC+ for the curveball in his career (34 to 63). Their changeups are identical. The difference is really Sanchez having to throw the four seamer more because of his finger issues (which has been terrible), and Syndergaard having a very good slider. I mean, it's a very important difference, but it's also pretty interesting comparing them if you look deeper into the numbers.
10. Lol at FVV in any universe being able to bowl over Ilyasova.
11. Wow, that was a hell of a move by Kawhi.
12. I don't know if you'd want him warming up several days in a row if he's having blister issues. The 2 inning save idea could be a very good role though.
13. That was a 3 by Meeks, and it wasn't close. Edited: Oh, they changed it.
14. 1. Not goaltending. 2. Put the bench back in please.
15. You can thank me for this run any time. After seeing the score at the half, I chose a bunch of bench players in DFS for the second half. I have no doubt it'll end up a tight game with all the starters in.
16. Everyone would take Thor. The point is, both have been injured so much it probably doesn't change anything overall. It seems weird that out of all the pitchers we traded, we might end up regretting Boyd the most when it's all said and done.
17. It's not like Thor has been a poster child for health either (he's just been better the odd time when he is healthy).
18. Teams go through this during a season from time to time, and when you're up against a great defense it gets magnified. Very unfortunate timing. Some of it can be blamed on great defense, but the open looks can't. It looks like it's in their heads now, because they're passing up on shots they should be taking and trying to drive instead. Nothing inside is called in the playoffs, so you're basically fouled on every play and end up with a lot of misses.
19. I doubt it's in the bottom 10 in the last decade. It was rather humorous to watch though.
20. They're actually not dominating the boards. There's only a difference of like 4, and those are all defensive (we've been missing more).
21. From a quality of play perspective, it can't really get any worse. What the f*** happened to pushing the ball anyway? We've basically been walking it up the last few games.
22. They're shooting better from the 3 than we are from the field.
23. "Gotta do it better on this end and tougher on that end." Well ... he's not wrong.
24. Well ... that was ugly.
