Stroman's xFIP is 4.16, which is the highest of his career. He's been getting good results, but it's not like it's well supported. Shoemaker was also 4.36 xFIP, but 1.57 ERA. Thornton is 4.61. Giles has been outstanding.
I don't know, maybe some of the good luck those guys have had can be attributable to Jansen's game calling too. It was just something I wondered about.
