    Stroman is easily a #2 or #3 starter on a good team, just not an ace. Let's not be silly here. I agree with the race stuff. This had absolutely nothing to do with race, and should never have been brought into the argument. All I think the original statement was saying is they're under the impression that Stroman thinks the world revolves around him, and going to New York he was going to find there were other guys people a lot higher in the pecking order. He was going to learn his place as a player, not as anything else. That said, hating on Stroman is just stupid. He was a good player for us, who loved the team, the city, the fans, and apparently wanted to stay through the rebuild. It would have been nice to see him be a little more professional, but that's about it. No one should be wishing him anything but the best.

    Giving up a tater to Davis should be an automatic ticket to Buffalo.

    No need to ban it. I'd be fine with restricting it slightly though. Maybe something along the lines of having to have at least 2 infielders on each side of the diamond (unless you go with a 4 man outfield).

    He seemed to fall off as soon as he stopped taking Adderall. Of course, I'm sure being on the O's isn't all the motivating either:p

    Over the past 2 years he's produced -4.2 WAR. They should be DFAing him regardless.

    Gurriel really let up there when rounding the base. That knee may not be 100%.

    I'm not sure what behavioural issues he's had. I don't recall reading about any. As for his weight, not to worry. Vladdy will eat all the ice cream and other goodies. Or maybe Gohara will and Vladdy will lose weight. Either way, we win.

    Plus you supplement them in a year or two with Pearson, etc. You could have a pretty damn good rotation right when it matters.

    Screw the value signings. Cole and Bumgarner would look pretty good at the top of the rotation.

    Biggio is going to have to start swinging at a few of those borderline pitches until the umps start to respect his eye a bit more.

    We don't know what the truth is. Atkins said he circled back to all the teams, but maybe the Twins were ruled out before that due to a s*** offer or something. Who knows who's telling the truth.

    They'll probably rotate him around the infield. As much as people complain about it, there's nothing wrong with giving the young guys one or two days off a week late in the season.

    They'll probably rotate guys through the DH rather than recall Rowdy, so all four main outfielders will likely get lots of starts.

    I'd put the Dodgers and Mets in a tie for the best 5-man rotation, but the Astros with the best playoff rotation.

    The bandwagon fan base doesn't matter in the least. They'll be back as soon as we start winning again.
