    They need to get him throwing his curve and slider a lot more, rather than the fastball he can't command.

    I wouldn't say he sucks. The bat is above average, just not elite (so far). He just turned 26 though, and has the talent to really break out.

    That low wind rumble in this HOU-LAA game is really, really annoying when you have headphones on.

    I could certainly see it. His advanced stats aren't pretty, but upper 90s, cheap contract, and a nice ERA should get the attention of someone. We certainly couldn't expect more than a wildcard though.

    I don't have a big problem with Fenway. It both gives and takes away. The Yankees short porch without the wall should never have been allowed.

    Lorenzen just came in as a pinch runner, in the 9th, in a tie game, and stole second base. Some pitchers are actually fun to watch doing things other than pitching.

    That's awesome lol. They showed Benintendi glancing to the side before every pitch too. It looked like something was being relayed to him from somewhere.

    It's interesting, the angle of the CF camera allows you to see Cashner's grip on the ball perfectly and what pitch he's gonna throw. I wonder if someone at 2nd can also see it?

    Glasnow looked like a dumpster fire too ... until he didn't. Sometimes you have to bet on the talent, and Frazier has that. I don't think it'll matter though, as I don't really think we'll be sending Stroman to the Yankees.

    Meh, Martin is one of their ~top 5 prospects, so you're basically getting Martin and an extra year of Stroman's equivalent for Stroman. I mean, I'd love to pry a legit top 10 prospect from someone, but I doubt it'll happen. If those guys are off limits, this is something that would be worth accepting rather than just keeping Stro or getting some low wildcards imo.

    We somehow botched our way into an out there.

    The one I wanted was just priced too high, so I'll wait for it to come down to something reasonable in a year or so. I picked up the Logitech G903 (can be used wirelessly or wired) from BestBuy for $85 in their "Not Amazon Prime Days Sale" sale.

    I wonder if they'd do something like McCullers and Martin? McCullers is approximately equal to Stroman, but has an extra year of control (some of that will likely be burned from TJS recovery). Martin will likely miss all of 2020, but is roughly MLB ready when he does return in 2021. Seems fairly reasonable. We could pay the salary difference between Stroman and McCullers (which isn't much) if needed.

    Giants are doing some ugly things to the Rockies lol. 12-0 in the 3rd.

    I think they'll give Stroman one more start, then hold him back from any more. It's all fine and good to say they should trade him now, but it takes another team to dance with. Most will likely be willing to sacrifice one start to find out exactly who is available at the deadline. Potentially holding Stroman out for 2.5 weeks probably isn't feasible.
