    His power hasn't shown yet, but he's not even doing all that poorly in general. His walk and K rates have held every level, which is one of the most critical things for him imo. He just needs to start lifting the ball a little more.

    I'm willing to trade pick 9 if someone has something interesting in mind. Wouldn't be looking for picks. There's a good chance I'll look to move Carlos Santana at the trade deadline as well, but I'm not opposed to talking about him now.

    Do we even need a cutdown at the MiLB draft? It increases the player pool a little I suppose, but most guys being selected are new draftees or previously unowned under the radar guys anyway, and the offseason cutdown would deal with the rest.

    I kinda like it, but we need to make it clear once and for all. You get 12 minor league slots, and in the offseason cutdown, 20 major league slots. Two of those 32 offseason slots are flexible. It's really not that difficult. The only thing I think would be worth changing would be to only enforce minor league size at the cutdowns. Hell, if we did that, we could even decide to move to just the one offseason cutdown.

    I don't really see an obvious fit for Galvis, but one could certainly open up in the next three weeks with an injury.
