I'm not sure what you were looking at, but Springer and Lukes both had hits in game 2. Springer led the bottom of the first off with a double (and then got stranded).

We're going to have to start sitting off-speed. By my count, only 6 of his 23 pitches were some variant of a fastball (4-seam, sinker, or cutter).
