It still feels weird to me to see the catcher automatically toss the ball out of play if it goes near the dirt. There was a time when the ump would have had to wrestle it away from them.
Maybe, but neither has pitched much. I could see them getting a very quick hook.

Things are going to get really interesting towards the end of this game. Both teams look like they're keen to burn through pitchers at a worrying rate.
That's a big strike zone on both sides of the plate. I don't blame Gardner for being a little unhappy about that sequence. Hopefully he can keep it together and not start banging on the dugout roof again.
I think they mentioned something about more/stronger independent leagues which would take those other players. It might also force more players into college.
If Dasan Brown could even become Billy Hamilton with a higher walk rate, he would be a fantastic player, at least during the time we'd control him for.
