    There's no reason why we couldn't. Everyone could select their best team after the trade deadline next year, and I'm pretty sure we could set it up in Fantrax for the remainder of the year.

    The plan was to start it very quickly in the BBDL, but we have some owner issues to sort through. Those same guys are in some of the other leagues too, so I want to give them through tonight and see where we stand.

    You'd think someone like Alford, with his injury history, would be not only be yelling for the ball before catching it, but for about 10 feet after.

    It would be nice if they'd focus on the game. I don't think they even know what the score is or who is up.

    Yeah. I thought the format would feel stupid and gimmicky, but it ended up pretty exciting.

    I've always wanted the Jays to play up the "man in white". Give fans a bunch of white shirts in the outfield and have them make random movements during at bats. You don't have to actually cheat. You just have to make the other team paranoid as hell that you are.

    I'm sure it has more to do with fan behaviour during those events than the actual time itself, regardless of what they say. They probably found that fans tend to flip channels or become otherwise disengaged when it happens. I don't care about the intentional walk rule either way. I absolutely HATED seeing 3 or 4 pitcher changes in an inning with each guy facing one batter. Maybe it doesn't happen often, but it stands out when it does. It grinds the game to a halt.
