I didn't notice much difference, but I wasn't looking too closely and people didn't have a lot of time to reorganize their teams. This offseason may change things more. A lot of relievers are getting both anyway (aside from closers). If you have a bunch of relievers that can slot into SP slots, then it's really the same thing (and probably causes them to be dramatically overvalued).

There's a limited number of those types though, some of which probably already qualify at both. You could ignore RP, but then you're forfeiting 2 categories a week. I haven't noticed any issues since we moved over to it in the BBDL, but this season hasn't been too active with the late start and early trade deadline either.

Just change it to 5 for hitting and make all pitching slots be generic. In the age of openers and stuff, I don't see any reason to have SP and RP only slots anyway.

I don't know what to think about it. Snell/Glasnow/Morton doesn't feel like much fun either. I think Cleveland has a greater chance of their bats getting hot, so I probably prefer the Rays also.

Jays vs Rays at the Trop. They'll definitely give us the most undesirable slot.
  6. Abomination
At least most of the Jays. Vladdy won't be affected.

I'd say a bad avatar, but he already has a picture of a cat's ass so ... Anyone have a dog?
  8. Abomination
Or just let him take his Adderall again.
  9. Abomination
Hentgen and Quantrill have been invited back in other roles. The Jays are restructuring.
  10. Abomination
They must have short memories. I seem to recall them employing guys like Irabu and CC.
  11. Abomination
    This was worse.
  12. Abomination
Sanchez makes catching a knuckleball look ... really f***ing bad.
  13. Abomination
It would be great if we could get their bullpen gassed heading into the postseason.
  14. Abomination
Vladdy ranging too far finally paid off!
  15. Abomination
Tanaka with the invisiball to 1st.
  16. Abomination
It wasn't pretty, but I want to see a lot of it!
  17. Abomination
    Where?
  18. Abomination
It'll be interesting to watch. I certainly wouldn't bet against him returning to be elite (at least for a year or two).

Apparently the Nuggets and Lakers aren't interested in playing defense today.

IMO it seems pretty clear that they know what's coming. The question is whether they're picking up something from the Jays (maybe a fielder is moving early or something), or whether they're actually cheating.

    Yankee Stadium also sucks balls.

I like the consecutive days for postseason games too. I hope they keep that change.

Kiss Kawhi good-bye. Clippers completely choked down the stretch.

    This did not age well.

Yeah. Nurse really REALLY needs to get him out of there.
