It would be interesting if they got a second QB. They could both line up for the snaps and Lemar could serve as both a QB and running back as needed, the new guy mostly for passing.

You're talking about a deal that's like 7/260 if you assume he gets 60M in arbitration (it might be a little more). I really don't see that as value that they should jump on now rather than 2 years from now when they have more information on him. I can't see a deal 2 years from now being considerably more per year than 37 or 38M.
