  1. I can't believe they gave the Jays Rangers the number 1 crew. The number one crew is number 2 of course.
  2. Or this goat status if they lose http://evfxonline.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/cubs-goat-logo.jpg
  3. And the reason it worked for the past 40 years is...
  4. Wesley Willis was a f***ing genius. I think that one was just before he died, after he got his record deal. His early Rock and Roll McDonald's type stuff was much better.
  5. and you aren't a female...and you aren't posting here anymore Thank you for your thread. for the record ACTRA is not for musicians. At least research your trolling.
  6. and ignore what I said. I'm betting my Dad read this as he is a Star reader. http://www.thestar.com/sports/bluejays/2015/10/02/who-should-throw-out-first-pitch-at-first-blue-jays-playoff-game.html
  7. The first pitch people were named I think. My Dad read that Carter, Halladay, some politician were slated. Mind you my Dad is senile.
  8. Okay my much smarter friends than I...this guy Fangda Li is going to be at a Sports Industry function I'm going to. He went from AstroPhysics to the Oakland A's. https://www.linkedin.com/pub/fangda-li/69/3ab/477 Is it just a case of Oakland wanting really smart people or would their be a connection to baseball that I'm not thinking of. I'd ask the guy tomorrow but I get the feeling I won't understand a word he says (you can read that as me being too dumb or just racist). Anyone interested in going to the function it's this https://www.eventbrite.com/e/2nd-annual-sports-industry-mixer-by-university-of-toronto-sports-business-tickets-18752738947
  9. don't think mathematically you are ever going to get that number in a playoff series. Well Jays are probably about 70% over the Phillies in a 5 gamer.
  10. No I think that is their cover.
  11. no they didn't but I thought I'd prepare everyone for the Fox broadcast
  12. My favourite part of the article was where they mentioned that HR teams don't win playoff series and how you have to win by manufacturing runs.
  13. I somehow doubt it with Texas being an hour behind too...but you never know with Fox. Trump might be getting a haircut that night and they have to cover it.
  14. This is what the ushers were told. Start time will 1, 4 or 8 We find out approx 48 hours before. Should be just after the AL WC game
  15. I can make that happen
  16. Would be a cool trip if any of the College Football teams were in town on the Saturday, but A&M is on a bye week and TCU is on the road. I guess Oklahoma vs. Texas is in the Cotton Bowl but Texas is so awful that it will lose the true feeling.
  17. I let Martin Perez see the Jays lineup once around...then after 9 batters Colby Lewis is in. I wouldn't even put Holland on the roster.
  18. San Diego for me.
  19. I'm still undefeated in GDT's.
  20. Also I'd like to note that baseball needs to expand (and I would go to 36) to get offense back up.
  21. Chris Mitchell from Hardball Times did a nice assessment of what makes a successful baseball franchise. Higher income means more than population which would seem to make Mexico a poor choice...also higher white population was the second biggest factor. Interesting assessment. The second part looked at some of the top choices, San Jose (like on all models) comes out on top. http://www.hardballtimes.com/examining-potential-mlb-expansion-cities-part-1/
  22. I love Walker but I understand the lack of support. He's a borderline on every vote for me if I had one (which I really should). One other thing on that 96 and 97 Rockies, Walker wasn't one of the 40 HR guys in 96 it was Burks with Gallaraga and VinnyCast
  23. 1997 Rockies big three had 21, 19, and 29 HR's on the road. Current Jays big three have 20, 17 and 17.
  24. No they weren't. Dogg is a Korean guy who we know his real name. Zee was South Asian from Mississauga, his Facebook is gone now but I 100% know it was Zee. These guys don't hide behind fake emails, since the new board we've pretty much known who they were.
