I realize now this is hindsight but it's about a good situation to bunt as there is this early. Good speed on the basepaths and your best contact hitter coming up. So much depends on how you view Goins (my view is still not positive as a hitter).

He's a strike call pitcher. Among the highest strikes called every year. 15.03% strikes called out of the zone this year is right around his average. Pretty sure everyone knows this going into his games.

Zero chance. I wouldn't bet this game at all. Cardinals as the 5th choice at 6-1 is the only worthy wager at this point.

Game 2 Betting line keeps moving the Jays up as a bigger favourite in the game -1.65 at the start of the series, -1.70 yesterday, -1.75 after the game yesterday and -1.80 now.

McClendon out as the M's manager. Tim Bogar to leave the front office and return to coaching? I mean after they do their obligatory minority manager interviews of course. I'd say by next month there won't be a Jack Z guy left in that org (Chris Gwynn quit, Simmons out Pete V out. Joe McIlvane out...and all the pro scouts out.

such a stupid comment. Yes the two wildcard game came in 2 years ago...but there have been 5 game series since 1971. And as my post earlier noted 33 of the 108 (30.5%) have came back to win.

After his ESPN firing in 2006 until 2012 it was just MLB network for him, then Fox saw opportunity with Social media becoming such a factor. His horrible announcing is what keeps him employed.
