I've been so careful not to write that too. I'm still torn...I love those Rays but I'd also love for some sustained success in Toronto under a GM that I don't consider to be a complete *******.

is this rotation weaker than the rotation was on April 1st 2015? There is lots of opportunity to establish these guys as starters...and add a front of the line starter at the deadline. All without handcuffing the payroll. What I don't get at all is how some people can praise the Estrada signing and add a better pitcher and call our rotation the worst.

I love seeing the Boston fans also crying AL East hardship. Royals were 62-40 against non Central teams last year.

I have some trouble seeing any starter without a changeup thriving. Games where the curve (his only true off speed pitch) is working he'll be great. When it's not...it'll likely be ugly. He's going to have to improve the splitter or throw the curve more IMO.

I'm thinking 1B and DH. Which is why I try and get them to sign 2 years right now (with a slightly higher AAV)...and have them do it together. The PR spin for them is great (best friends, country mates...wanting to stay together on the same team). It doesn't even matter if it's not true. It sells their brand. Carlos Beltran is a healty dude. He's gonna be good into his 40's Matt Holiday is a healthy dude. He's gonna be good into his 40's Jimmy Rollins is a healthy dude. He's gonna be good into his 40's Ichiro is the healthiest dude ever. He's gonna be good into his 50's.

Paige Brendel is batshit crazy (from continuing to post old pics of her and Lawrie after they broke up to create a stir that they got back together, to telling everyone that her and George Kontos are getting married, when they were just dating casually)...so she is obviously number 1. Dana Long, don't know much about her other than she looks plastic...but she went to St. Mary's so we know she's easy and willing to do unspeakable things. Syd LeRoux, couldn't care less about her turning her back on Canada. Even banging JJ Watt can't make up for her second (known) strike which was Colin Kaepernick. Her husband now, is some MLS guy...he looks like he's kept her long line of douches going though.

injuries getting to him is a possibility. So much of Lawrie's good fielding is based on pure effort. Also possible that the effort just isn't as great anymore. Defensive decline isn't even the oddest of the Lawrie stats...how about 25 years old and on his third engagement (with zero marriages to date)

I worked really hard on discovering tells in poker...and could find them when I wasn't in a hand. But once I was in a hand I almost never was able to catch someone. I can't imagine how I'd be while trying to figure out a tell at the plate. Not saying it can't be done...just not by me.
