jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Would have been cool to see Schlittler vs. Cease in a battle of AL Cy Young contenders. Feels like this one will be tough, but if we could sneak out a win here, that would be huge. Jays24 1
Laika Community Moderator Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Probably need 6+ runs to win today Probably not going to be able to work Schlitter for walks Just need to try and jump his fastballs... You either get lucky and the hits fall in and you tack on runs and rattle him, or you don't and he throws a complete game No other game plan makes sense though
Omar Old-Timey Member Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago We can get to Shitter, but we aren't going to put up a crooked number. Can we string some hits together is the question. They are going to leave the yard so lets see what happens. Is Vladdy going to play today? Maybe Sewald shows his mettle today? When is Tiedman going to be called up? This week I hope. Spanky__99 1

I like the potential of the middle relief group a lot better with the likes of Sewald, Little and Tiedemann as all 4 should be able to generate tons of swing and miss vs the throw away arms of Estrada/Waldron/Lee etc.
jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Tiedemann is getting called up today right?

Spanky__99 Old-Timey Member Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Fisher opening, SWR bulk reliever and pen vs a Cy candidate, no worries... GO JAYS GO!!! Omar and jaysblue 2
Jays24 Old-Timey Member Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Are we trying to win? Lol In 2025, everything we threw out there worked. Lets see if we are truly back today.

Vlad got rekt so that make sense Ernie is a mess mentally so a day off makes sense George is 52 years old They have a 15% chance to win today so it's a decent day to rest them up Brownie19 and Spanky__99 1 1

SeranthonySantander Verified Member Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago It's funny that sports net is using Brett Bateman as our headliner for upcoming games. Bateman and the Jays vs Shittler and the yankees.
Laika Community Moderator Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Yes official, Lee optioned and Ricky T up Uhhh also apparently Daz Cameron has a locker? Gross
Laika Community Moderator Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Wait Daz Cameron was nuking AAA Another stroke of genius from Ross, this is the difference maker Spanky__99 1

The club could desperately use a decent right handed hitting outfielder so hopefully some of this success transfers to the major league level. Spanky__99 and Laika 2
Jays24 Old-Timey Member Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Yankees are stacking up lefties at the bottom/top of the lineup. Very sure Flu and Teidemann will pitch during those pockets.
jmomcc Verified Member Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Vlad might be going down with concussion related things I think. Would have been ok with Sean keys back up if that is the case but Daz should be fun too. This is the random ass BP game we end up randomly winning. Although SWR has been on the edge of getting absolutely torched since he came here.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Blue Jays Recall Ricky Tiedemann For MLB Debut August 15th, 2026 at 11:09am CST • By Leo Morgenstern The Blue Jays recalled left-hander Ricky Tiedemann from Triple-A Buffalo today. Right-hander Chase Lee was optioned in a corresponding move. Tiedemann is a former top-100 prospect whose shine faded after he underwent Tommy John surgery in 2024. He will be making his MLB debut the first time he gets in a game.

Lets hope that doesn’t continue to have lingering effects throughout his career…

Jays24 Old-Timey Member Posted 34 minutes ago Posted 34 minutes ago Vladdy to the IL... even if hes been pathetic by his standards... still better than most of the team :(
