Santander too😁

Shouldn`t forgot Lindor, so Vlad is no the worst contract yet, but if he can`t bounce back in 2028, yes he will be the worst contract in the MLB

I'd rather have Bichette on a ridiculous 3 year contract than Vladdy on a ridiculous 14 year contract.

Vlad annualy salary is around 35 millions. But Bo and Tucker are respectively 55 and 60, the value of 2 star players like Yordan Alvarez + Fernando Tatis Jr. So having Vlad salary on the payroll, doesn`t prevent Atkins add a player like Tatis Jr, Marte or Alvarez, but Bo and Tucker yes

Let`s say that if Vlad wasn`t signed after the WS, and tested free agency, he will have get more money than Tucker. Something between Soto and Tucker average salary, that Mets will have gladly give him.

Schneider has to stop telling the media how great this team is. Great pitching. Great hitters and top defense. The media believe every word.

Of course. The Blue Jays still have tickets, jerseys, concessions, and TV ratings to sell for the rest of the season. They’re not going to openly wave the white flag unless they absolutely have to.

And the Sportsnet media machine plays right along with it. There’s always going to be a push to keep fans invested, keep the “we’re still in it” narrative alive, and make it seem like a run is just around the corner.

I get it from a business standpoint, but as fans, we can see what’s happening. At some point, the optimism starts to feel more like marketing than reality.

It's all entertainment. You guys need to start realizing that with sports.

I got a tip for ya. When you use your AI prompts to make these posts make sure to tell it to make it "more concise and less preachy". 👍

I mean this is spot on.  Fans who think anything else is going to happen - or who criticize the manager/organization for not being "honest" or "frank" with them are just fooling themselves.  Nobody is going to do that and judging them "telling the truth" just shows your ignorance.
