Odd take..... Rogers runs one of the highest payrolls. It'd be even higher if more guys would take their money, like Ohtani, Soto or Tucker.

The front office has done their job too. They doubled down on a team that won 94 games last year and came within an inch of winning a world series. 

This is on the players who are underperforming and a terrible run of injury luck.

I think there is a handful of players who are only willing to come to canada now because they dont like trump.  Max Scherzer comes to mind, I know hes a democrat.  But I think in general wealthy athletes lean right
