You really think JS is on the hot seat? Very unlikely. Yeah JS is nowhere near the hot seat. He just signed an extension this offseason lol. More of the Red Sox and Mets blame should be on the front office IMO. As for the Phillies, I really don't know or can't explain their awful start.

From my embryonic exchanges on these forums, there seems to be an assumption that because someone is new, that means they don't know what they're talking about. What I see however is that if anyone dares have a dissenting view about the ball club, or is critical of any aspect of it, they are immediately accused of having mental or personality disorders or ignorance. If you read my post, I was never advocating that the man get the sack, but that in light of what has happened elsewhere, there has to be some pressure. You've received a lot of the flak that came your way by displaying anti social tendencies. When regular posters disagreed with your opinions you immediately started throwing out terms like "I'd like some of what you are smoking" instead of making any kind of attempt at intelligent conversation.

'Regular' posters. Again, I can't help but get the impression that because I'm new, some of you think I am not qualified to express my opinion or to dare disagree with the prevailing wisdom of the 'regular' posters. If 'regular' posters are going to accuse me of having mental disorders, I'll give a little back. The truth hurts.

So how are the Braves doing now? I’m not even comparing AA to Atkins, because I like both. But the homerism and hypocrisy here are pretty astounding. The primary reason people rip on the Braves is because we know it triggers you. We all have our triggers.

I'm trying anything to get this pathetic team out of this funk.

You would be well served to learn the difference between an opinion and absolute truth.

So excuses apply to the Jays, but if Atlanta started off bad even with all those injuries I'm sure most on here would be laughing at their front office and blaming AA. A lot were even before the season started. Find me one post where I stated anything about the Braves rotation. I'll wait.

I was pointing out the double standard. When it was Atlanta, the injuries were something to laugh at. When it’s the Jays, injuries suddenly become the go-to explanation. Either they matter when judging a team, or they don’t.

AA was well known for not creating enough depth on the bench and/or the upper minors. This left them quite susceptible to injuries derailing the team. So when they inevitably had injuries and it derailed their season, we'd point and laugh because we've seen this pattern before and it appears AA hasn't really "learned" from past failures. Can't cry wolf. When we can point out something that's true and that triggers you - it's a win-win situation. Spanky__99 1

The only reason the Braves are killing it is because of their offense and not their SP staff... ranked 3rd in Of and ranked 22nd from their SP and 4th with the pen... whereas the Jays have had far more injuries and are ranked 19th offensively, the SP is 9th and the pen is 2nd. See how that works, no-one gives a f*ck about the Braves on this site. 🦤🖕
