BB/9 in AAA Buffalo is 5.93 (SSS).  Over the past 3-4 years, it is remarkable how many pitchers have gone to AAA Buffalo and immediately started walking 2-3 times more than they have elsewhere.

Not the same

Montoyo had very few effective choices in his pen that season and there wasn't really an alternative to hoping Chatwood/Dolis etc. turned things around. I do recall one egregious instance where Montoyo left Chatwood in a game where he obviously didn't have it to prove a point who was the boss, and this led directly to a loss. That team just so happened to miss the playoffs by a single game.

this plus all the issues with accidental or fake challenges  - and were only a few weeks into the season - maybe we're a few years away from full robo umps.  Just wait for a mess up during the post season

Apparently not. I feel like going with Pianago would have been better. Sanchez is complete non factor at the plate vs Lefties. OPS under .500 the last 3 Seasons.
