7-1 in the top 6th is not lopsided when youre going up against a team you just played in the World Series.  Theyre giving us the benefit of the doubt that we're good still lol

I think it probably has to do with 40 man roster spots. Van Eyk also pitched last night and Macko and Plassmeyer can't give the length.

And I believe if you bring Yariel up, the next time you send him down he becomes a free agent and are on the hook for the entire contract too.  They probably want to save that bullet for when they think he can stick with the big league team.
