Wish Ohtani was pitching tonight instead - tough to make the game on Wednesday at 3PM ugh.

High leverage arms are fresh for today, which is a plus heading into the series. 

Hopefully Scherzer pitches well and the Jays bats could score a couple off Wrobleski. If they win one game in this series, this is definitely the one and hope you can steal one against Yamamoto or Ohtani on Tuesday/Wednesday.  

If they can take 2 of 3 against the Dodgers, that would be huge and a nice bounce back after going 1-5 against the Rockies and White Sox.

Yeah my wife and oldest son are going Tuesday.  Missing Ohtani sucks, but Yamamoto is a nice consolation prize.

I have tickets for tomorrow night's game as well, so happy it's Yamamoto vs. Gausman. 

Will see about Wednesday - might get a ticket last minute but likely won't get down to the Dome until 4.

Seems about right to me. Voth being signed and recalled along with Mantiply in favour of a guy like Chase Lee definitely signaled they wanted him to eat some innings and then they'd DFA one. Mantiply at least has decent projections and is a lefty so he's not going anywhere right now.

Yeah Jays are really good value today especially with Scherzer on the mound Hopefully they get to Wrobleski.

Amazing how this schedule with the lack of offdays, extra inning games, Ponce going down mid-game, plus injuries to half our starters AND Lauer getting sick has totally f***ed our pitching staff

Corbin actually hasn't been half bad the past 2 years.  xFIP of like 4.21 (4.14 in 2024), which was better than Matthew Boyd, Holmes, Singer, Kikuchi, Ray, etc. last year.

Edit - he throw 5 innings in A ball on the 4th.  He should be up and available very soon.  That's likely why Josh Fleming is on the team.  He'll soon be punted to the moon.
