Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted April 6 Posted April 6 So, yeah. The White Sox. That didn't go well. But seriously. THE WHITE SOX? About today's game, though. BTS Community Moderator Posted April 6 Posted April 6 It feels like we're about to get annihilated, but this is baseball so we probably win 2 of 3
jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted April 6 Posted April 6 Wish Ohtani was pitching tonight instead - tough to make the game on Wednesday at 3PM ugh.
jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted April 6 Posted April 6 High leverage arms are fresh for today, which is a plus heading into the series. Hopefully Scherzer pitches well and the Jays bats could score a couple off Wrobleski. If they win one game in this series, this is definitely the one and hope you can steal one against Yamamoto or Ohtani on Tuesday/Wednesday. If they can take 2 of 3 against the Dodgers, that would be huge and a nice bounce back after going 1-5 against the Rockies and White Sox. Spanky__99, Stangstag and Jays24 3

Yeah my wife and oldest son are going Tuesday. Missing Ohtani sucks, but Yamamoto is a nice consolation prize. Yamamoto v. Gausman; and Ohtani v. Cease Those are some big time pitching matchups. jaysblue 1

Yeah the pitching matchups on Tuesday and Wednesday will be 👌 I have tickets for tomorrow night's game as well, so happy it's Yamamoto vs. Gausman. Will see about Wednesday - might get a ticket last minute but likely won't get down to the Dome until 4.
Spanky__99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 6 Posted April 6 Pitching matchups seem pretty even, get back on the sticks, Birds!
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted April 6 Posted April 6 GDT prediction: Jays win - @Jays24 says “wow yay back to .500 lucky win lol” Jays lose - @Jays24 “see i told you guys the team sucks, 0% chance we make the playoffs, im smarter than the inner circle guys lol” Rynodb1 1
Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted April 6 Posted April 6 I know betting posts are about as exciting as watching paint dry but I finally saw some good value on the Jays at +120 (+145 with the boost) and have made my first bet of the season on them. jaysblue and Smokinitup420 1 1

Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted April 6 Posted April 6 Voth DFA'd and Barger to the IL is my guess Smokinitup420 and Orgfiller 2

Voicing frustration towards the team is different than trying to go after someone on a message board. My points were mainly Little sucks and that the offense is our biggest question mark. If those ramblings offend you then hit the ignore button and move on with your life. Jeez lol

Voth being signed and recalled along with Mantiply in favour of a guy like Chase Lee definitely signaled they wanted him to eat some innings and then they'd DFA one. Mantiply at least has decent projections and is a lefty so he's not going anywhere right now. Terminator 1

Yeah Jays are really good value today especially with Scherzer on the mound Hopefully they get to Wrobleski.

Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted April 6 Posted April 6 Josh Fleming struck out 4.7 per 9 in AAA last year. Why is he on our team again? I guess it's just another arm that can detach from it's shoulder with 0 f*cks given. Stangstag 1

Amazing how this schedule with the lack of offdays, extra inning games, Ponce going down mid-game, plus injuries to half our starters AND Lauer getting sick has totally f***ed our pitching staff Orgfiller 1

Where the f*ck is Patrick Corbin? Wasn't he already throwing?

LFG man - we need you NOW. Edit - he throw 5 innings in A ball on the 4th. He should be up and available very soon. That's likely why Josh Fleming is on the team. He'll soon be punted to the moon. jaysblue and Stangstag 2
