Pinkfloid Verified Member Posted April 4 Posted April 4 Heineman's error didn't ultimately matter. Little has to go. Stangstag 1
ComeTogether Verified Member Posted April 4 Posted April 4 4-4. I guess this is what the team will be. Just stay 500 until they get healthier. Long season Pinkfloid and Stangstag 1 1
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted April 4 Posted April 4 All of these losses (except the Ponce game) feel exactly like game 7 of the WS. So many missed chances. Could easily be 7-1 right now Spanky__99 1

Doubleplay21 Verified Member Posted April 4 Posted April 4 I want to see Little pitch against the Dodgers. This will be the biggest joke of the season maybe in history. ComeTogether and Jays24 2
Pinkfloid Verified Member Posted April 4 Posted April 4 It's a pity to play all these (eventually) bad teams right out the chute. Feel like it takes some time for good teams to gel positively and bad teams to solidify as being poor. During that time the games are closer to toss-ups than they'd be later in the year. Stangstag 1

Jays24 Old-Timey Member Posted April 4 Posted April 4 The team has to play better but seeing Heiniman and Little directly responsible for all 4 of our losses sucks. Stangstag 1

The whole “easy team” thing is a mirage. s*** teams are normally better out the gate, they haven’t been demoralized yet. Luck plays a big factor. Jays have several injuries and the offense isn’t clicking yet. These aren’t huge losses, every game has been winnable aside from 1. Luck plays a huge factor and we’re getting a crazy bad small sample size that is magnified because of the opponents we’re playing. Im not really concerned yet. Just sucks to lose winnable games. Will make things tougher/tighter later on. Pinkfloid 1
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted April 4 Posted April 4 Garcia instead of Little and we're probably 6-2 or 5-3 Stangstag 1
Jays24 Old-Timey Member Posted April 4 Posted April 4 Only good thing is if I remember correctly last year, we lost many games against the crap teams but it was our ability to play the good teams well that made our season. No better test than the Dodgers Monday lol Pinkfloid and Stangstag 2

I was fine giving Little a shot after he looked good in spring, but goddamn why are we using him in close games. Using him today was extremely reckless, JS is really stupid sometimes. I still don’t like him. Little has to go, he’s bleeding runs
