That was a clean game. Defense was great, pitchers all did their jobs (mostly), and Okamoto was an impact player in his first game. Fun win.

Certainly it's not the way MLB counts blown saves. You can blow a save in the 6th in theory despite that pitcher was never going to finish the game. Pitcher could K 2 guys in the 5th, 2 in the 6th and then blow it and it's a 4 K blown save.

Bottom of the lineup came up huge.

Great seeing Okamoto making an impact in his first game. Clement and Gimenez as well with big hits! Definitely a nail biting win!

Impressed with Rogers in the 8th as well. Looks like he's going to be a nice late inning weapon out of the pen this season!

I feel like Okamoto looks a lot more athletic than he was given credit for. He looked steady and consistently good on both sides of the ball.

We threw 16Ks tonight and almost lost lol.  Just happy we won tbh.

Okamoto looked solid at 3B and has a good approach at the plate. Cautiously optimistic that he's an above average MLB hitter. 

Great win. Very reminiscent of the 2025 Jays so maybe the magic is still there.

Dude its 1 game, you can’t take anything from this.

Bottom line though, Jays wouldn’t have signed him unless they thought he was a capable 3B.

Varsho at 2nd rank will see better pitchs because of Vlad, and Okamoto will be a better option than Barger at 4, coz he have better bat discipline, and he's a overall more complete hitter.
