A very genuine human being playing the game he loves and isnt afraid to show it on the field, while still not taking himself seriously.

It's great to watch

Nailed it.

You need people like me so you can point your f***ing fingers and say, "That's the bad guy." So... what's that make you? Good? You're not good. You just know how to hide, how to lie. Me, I don't have that problem. Me, I always tell the truth. Even when I lie. So say good night to the bad guy!

I know its meaningless in the big picture, but Springer has to be the team MVP this season.

Its still Vlad realistically, but... without Springer bouncing waaay back, Bo and Kirk bouncing back, Barger taking a real step forward, even Varsho's power resurgence in his limited time...

I'd put Springer at the top of the "comeback player of the year" pile, but not quite MVP.

JS was asked this the other day, and he said that's hard... *The team* lol

I’ve been taking notes on who here can’t handle a 3 run deficit in an August game

October will not be for the faint of heart and I need to know who I can trust

Bwahahaha... love it Term.

15 HR at this time of the season IS NOT having POP in the bat. It is mediocre at best. By this point a REAL power hitter with POP in the bat should be about 28-30 HRs and 80-90 RBIS at the lowest. Even counting missed time, Varsho is NOT a real power hitter in this era of the game. Maybe if this was 1925 and not 2025 you could call his numbers power numbers.

You obviously didn't think about this very much. Varsho has a whopping total of 179 PA up to this point of the season, and his power numbers are very real. Among hitters with a minimum of 170 PA he's 2nd in MLB in ISO at .346. He has a slugging percentage of .574 right now. If you prorate his numbers to something approximating how many PA he would have accumulated at this point of the season with typical playing time he'd be sitting at 38 HR and 108 RBI if he continued at the same pace.

Pfft...sure it is.

I'd put Springer and Bo ahead of Vlad.

You can make an argument for all of Springer/Kirk/Vlad/Bo and Lauer, honestly. It's a nice problem to discuss, personally for me it's in this order above.
