Doubleplay21 Verified Member Posted August 28, 2025 Posted August 28, 2025 John Schneider made a stupid decision sending Lauer to the bullpen, never used there then put back as a starter
jmomcc Verified Member Posted August 28, 2025 Posted August 28, 2025 I feel bad for Lauer. He was going great and he was messed with in terms of rest. Pinkfloid 1
gruber9292 Verified Member Posted August 28, 2025 Posted August 28, 2025 The players are having a combined magical season but management is basement status. Stangstag and Pinkfloid 2

I agree with that scenario Stangstag 1
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted August 28, 2025 Posted August 28, 2025 I think Lauer is officially out of the rotation lol Jays24 and neverbeenhere 1 1

Yeah he’s had a long lay off and he was doing well before that. May have hurt him. He was clearly overachieving but sucks for him to be put in this spot.

Yeah, lets replace a .250 hitter with 18 HR with a 179 hitter with 6 HR coming back from a shoulder injury that has limited him to only 50 games.... that makes perfect sense. If make a move, send Barger down, and call up Loperfido who was hitting 358 and had 29 hits in only 30 games. Santander had 33 hits in his 50 games.
Jays24 Old-Timey Member Posted August 28, 2025 Posted August 28, 2025 What can you do when youre facing the powerhouse twins.

Wel duhh, the pregame plan said that Lauer must pitch between 4-5 innings glory and Jays24 1 1

gruber9292 Verified Member Posted August 28, 2025 Posted August 28, 2025 If we end up losing the division and get swept in the WC round, Rogers will reward Shatkins with another extension. Stangstag 1
jaysthebest Verified Member Posted August 28, 2025 Posted August 28, 2025 ATP, the Jays will get swept by the Brewers and the Sox will be in the 1st place.
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted August 28, 2025 Posted August 28, 2025 Vladdy is the king of warning track flyouts right now. No power from the legs

Mvjm79 Verified Member Posted August 28, 2025 Posted August 28, 2025 Jays need to step up and keep their urgency up when facing teams with poor records. there is NO way they should be having this kind of trouble with the Twins. Not too many teams doing worse then them. Jays so far are 13-10 in August, likely 13-11 after today. This is what they REALLY are, not the stretch that saw then shoot to the top of the League. Too many mid range average players or injury prone roster members. Too much inconsistency and not any player that can be absolutely trusted to always come through. Sporadic offence and sloppy pitching with poor player decisions by the coaching staff. max silver 1

june.june Verified Member Posted August 28, 2025 Posted August 28, 2025 Jays likely leapfrogged both Angles and Orioles after tonight top 3 just behind the Rockies and As, teams given up most HRs this season fugly
Jays24 Old-Timey Member Posted August 28, 2025 Posted August 28, 2025 So Nance is our best bullpen arm eh Stangstag 1
