Wonder who goes down or DFA'd for Springer/Bieber.  My guess is Loperfido gets sent down and Nance gets DFA'd?

Loperfido gets called up in september and then France gets DFA'd for Santandar (hopefully)

Yeah not surprised. He has options so they don't have to lose anyone, and his only path to playing time would have been if Barger played 3B and Clement went to the bench against RHP, and that ain't happening. Might not be a bad idea to keep France over Joey. Probably a better roster fit (RHB, can play 1B) and he's significantly underperformed his xwOBA while Joey has like a .500 BABIP with undwhelming statcast data. What they do if/when Taters comes back is a more interesting question. By then rosters will be expanded so it may not be an issue.

Call me crazy but I dont think the Jays are at their full 40 man roster capacity right now. 

And if they were... Nina would get punted before Nance I think. 

Sandlin could even be shifted to the 60 day IL as another option too.

They have obvious 40 man moves if they don't want to DFA Nance for Bieber (Yimi 60, Pina DFA) but the 26 man move is less obvious. Maybe option Fluharty for a bit.

True, Nina for sure, good call. Although they need to make space on the 26 man roster.

So a DFA of Nance or option one of Flu or Fisher. We'll find out in 5 days. I'm thinking the Flu might get f***ed by options, yet he's far more detrimental to the team's success than a journey man that has pitched well, so I believe it's nance.

Fluharty makes sense if they move Lauer to the pen to have a 2nd lefty.  That way you dont lose anyone off the roster.

We would just punish our bullpen by having 1 less arm in there.  Not sure if thats ideal with the way Schneider likes to use his bullpen.

Imagine getting Santandar back and being able to bat him 7th/8th, and also have the ability to use as a pinch hitter.  Thats a luxury I want to have so not sure why people are downplaying that if its an option.
