Well tomorrow we have our ace this year Lauer on the mound hopefully he shuts them down.

That will truly be a test of just how real he is.

Man, if this were the week before the playoffs, I'd be in shambles. But we've all watched enough ball to know it's a game of swings, good and bad.

It's looks bad right now but there's plenty if time for us to crater while the Sox surge and take off again while they crater. And even if they don't really falter, we can be back to playing well in time to kick ass in the playoffs.

I want a first round bye as much as the next guy but we gotta beat the good teams one way or another, f*** it. Win the division, or finally win the first round, step on some necks, then treat the Dodgers, or Brewers I guess, like the f***ing Rockies.

End rant.

There has been tons of streakiness to this Jays season so I don't think people should be that surprised the team has lost 2 games in a row to the most talented team in baseball. That Rockies team was beyond terrible serving up more meatballs than an Italian restaurant. You shouldn't think the Jays are any worse after the last 2 games just like you shouldn't have been jumping up and down with excitement after the Rockies series, MLB season is so long theres going to be ups and downs.

Springer being out of the lineup certainly is a big loss and Kirk has cooled off quite a bit since July 1. If Springer can come back healthy that's as big addition as they can make right now.

The pitching has been pretty shaky but at full health the pitching is good enough to contend imo especially with Bieber at the front of the rotation.
