They need to make the tax code and rules clear. If no one knows what applies and what doesn't, the benefit of the doubt should go to the taxpayer, not the CRA. The CRA can then fix the ambiguity for the next year.

CRA is a joke. Not only do the harass high end earners but they'll come after you for a few thousand bucks even if its complete BS just because they think you won't notice or won't try to fight it.
