Francys Romero reported that teams are circling free agent third baseman Yoan Moncada as everyone waits for Alex Bregman to make a decision.

Moncada has had a career all too typical for recent White Sox prospects. He started off strongly, peaking with a 140 OPS+ in 2019, having another very good season in 2021, and then spiraling due to injuries afterward. He will enter his age-30 season in 2025.

Dude has 22K followers so it's not like it's a nobody reporting this.  Seems logical that teams who don't get Bregman would fallback to guys like Monchada who has been discussed here a lot actually as a potential bounceback candidate.

Sounds like you're more annoyed with the Jays than me tbh but I'm good not posting it for discussion. Free agency is changing daily so what was reported a month ago might not be applicable today.  

I also don't see how you can't just skip the threads you don't care about whereas we're all forced to read a bunch of different crap within 1 massive thread to hear updated news on various players.  I'm good with what the majority wants and can save myself the headache of posting these here then.

Sure that's fine, as I said, this is kind of mark it isn't warranted of a thread rumour Brock. Prior to the existence of where we we're at it was held in a General Jays conversation or the OffSeason thread that it has been.  I agree it can be whatever but, Im old school to our forums and it seems unnecessary. It will become a Reddit if you think this is actually thread worthy. I'd rather s*** my pants in traffic.

LOL. That's fine, I get it. Every forum has their preferences. At some point after the season kicks off, remind me to open a conversation about this so as many people can chime in as possible. I'm 100% fine with creating a rumors forum, I'd just like to have as much input on it as possible.

Just another source feeding off the original tweet to please Spanky lol.  We're all sick of these "rumours" and just want the Jays to finalize their roster already.  I've been checking here almost daily in hopes of some exciting news this off-season, it's depressing lol.
