Time to move Vlad and Bichette, with Skenes and the orioles, coming up, I can’t see any logic in giving them the mega million contracts they want. Time to cash them in for 3 to 5 top 100 prospects and draft our own Skenes, Rutschman, and Henderson. At least that’s something to build a foundation upon.

to me its the only sensical strategy. most of our starting pitching is on the wrong Side of 30, hell even Ryan Burr our most Promising Minor league arm is Already 30 so who is ownership fooling ? Talent wise this is the equivalent of an old age home.

 

mlb ranks the Jays at 24 saying "Tiedemann’s stuff is arguably the best among Minor League left-handers and Martinez provides tremendous power right now at just 22 years old. But that’s where the true excitement perhaps ends. The rest of the Toronto system relies on hope"

 

this screams total incompetence. they want nothing more than to sell tickets until old age forces them to rebuild and truthfully if they wait much longer what valuable players they do have are losing value. They are playing this fanbase for suckers in my opinion.

 

if not for Warder Franco's indescretions, We'd literally be 5 years behind every team in the AL East

The fanbase for essentially every professional sports team are "suckers". The % of fans who really understand baseball and have an intelligent opinion about the Blue Jays is extremely small - as it is for every team.
