The Blue Jays will start Chris Bassitt and Chicago will send out Nick Nastrini. The White Sox will start Nick Nastrini. The right-handed pitcher is 0-2 this season with an ERA of 7.88. He has started just two games this season with his last one coming on April 21. He has pitched eight innings in the big leagues this season and he has allowed seven runs during that stretch. He has struck out just eight batters through the first two starts.

Schneider giving Jano a day off his feet:

 

"He's obviously swinging the bat really well. He'll be ready to go today if we need him at some point during the game," Schneider said. "It's a delicate balance (giving him time off from catching), and it's tough to take him out of the lineup, for sure, but you've got to trust everybody... and you don't want to run Jano into the ground."

It essentially is. 65.2 MPH swing speed. Kids on my U14 team swing harder. I've been a supporter of Biggio over the years, but I think it's time to move on.
