G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted April 5, 2024 Posted April 5, 2024 PHEW!!!!!!!! Huge day for the pitching They literally won it for us
Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted April 5, 2024 Posted April 5, 2024 And we're momentarily not in last place. That's nice. We may want to enjoy this for a brief second.
hanton Old-Timey Member Posted April 5, 2024 Posted April 5, 2024 The difference in speed is massive and can prove valuable even at first base. Yes, in general though is what I was referring to and the Jays were leading..
BTS Community Moderator Posted April 5, 2024 Posted April 5, 2024 Somehow, this team has a real chance to go back to Toronto at 0.500
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted April 5, 2024 Posted April 5, 2024 not a fun one, but a W i'll take it
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted April 5, 2024 Posted April 5, 2024 I wanted to trade him two off seasons ago. People are still blind and can't see what's painfully obvious. Should have traded him to the Braves when they let Freeman walk If AA has a weakness it's being overly attached to players he previously had/was involved in drafting
BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted April 5, 2024 Posted April 5, 2024 Somehow, this team has a real chance to go back to Toronto at 0.500 LOL. Its crazy. If we ever start to play half decent we will be dangerous! Good for them. 1 more of 2 and its official. Got to love Clement. That interview.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 5, 2024 Posted April 5, 2024 lol Ernie Clement gives a very fun interview.

G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted April 5, 2024 Posted April 5, 2024 Somehow, this team has a real chance to go back to Toronto at 0.500 Indeed With a very favorable pitching matchup tomorrow

glory Old-Timey Member Posted April 5, 2024 Posted April 5, 2024 Somehow, this team has a real chance to go back to Toronto at 0.500 The fact that they are 2-2 in their last 4 games given how they've hit is a damn miracle. Pitching as expected is going to be the key to how this season goes. Basically need a repeat of 2023 in the aggregate and then hope for either internal development offensively or more realistically a bunch of trades at the deadline.

hanton Old-Timey Member Posted April 5, 2024 Posted April 5, 2024 Kikuchi was on fire today - you can see he was on right from the start. Bottle that

Basically need a repeat of 2023 in the aggregate and then hope for either internal development offensively or more realistically a bunch of trades at the deadline. I was thinking about this yesterday. I don't see many rental bats being available at the deadline this year. Most of the top free agents this off season are either on contenders or are pitchers.

SHould be holding his head in shape and apologizing to the audience. He doesn't give a f***. He's been an entitled child his whole life and at this point, it's somewhat irrelevant what he does with his MLB career. At any point, he can go back to the DR and live off his earnings, momma's cooking and do whatever the f*** he wants.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted April 5, 2024 Posted April 5, 2024 Cause so far this season: Springer .120 /.267/ .360 Edit: Guerrero .172/.314/.276 Bichette .150/ .190/ .200 My f'n God. You can't keep this up and expect to play even 500 ball
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 5, 2024 Author Posted April 5, 2024 Take the series tomorrow, boys...
Laika Community Moderator Posted April 5, 2024 Posted April 5, 2024 never in doubt lfgggggggggggggggggg the trick to enjoying the Blue Jays now is just to cheer for the pitchers. the bats are hopeless. Kikuchi shoved. Richards and Yimi were great. Cabrera and Green got lucky. wooooooooooooooo f*** you vlad you lard ass

SHould be holding his head in shape and apologizing to the audience. I have to say I've never been so disappointed in a player. The hype he had coming into the majors as a 19/20 yr old, the massive 2021 season he had, gave me such hope for him. But the last 2 years he's been completely mediocre and every time he comes to bat I think "here comes another groundout". I really hope they trade him this year and go hard after Soto.
