hanton Old-Timey Member Posted September 6, 2023 Posted September 6, 2023 That’s all on KK, I don’t get he felt the need to try and steal in that spot…1st and 3rd with none out and 1,2,3 coming up. That’s just a dumb thing to try at the best of time let alone against a lefty when you don’t have a good lead so dumb, maybe a missed sign.

gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted September 6, 2023 Posted September 6, 2023 Waldichuk has a 5.92 ERA but looking like an ace

John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted September 6, 2023 Posted September 6, 2023 Because Springer is 2nd on the team in PA per GIDP behind Kirk. Probably thought it was a good chance to get 2 runners in scoring position, but failed as usual Sure but a dp scores a run there, wouldn't even be that bad of an outcome. Oakland was giving us that run, we just said no thank you
RobinThicc Verified Member Posted September 6, 2023 Posted September 6, 2023 Score some f***ing runs and be in a playoff position tonight please!

John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted September 6, 2023 Posted September 6, 2023 Vladdy is the ultimate worm killer. Vlads swing is absolutely broken up in the zone. I cannot fathom how a guy hits so many balls that bounce in the dirt in front of home plate on pitches at the top off the zone
hanton Old-Timey Member Posted September 6, 2023 Posted September 6, 2023 Vlady has a lazy swing, not using his lower body. Works on the back fields in the DR but not in the majors.

BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted September 6, 2023 Posted September 6, 2023 Still in shock over that 1B and 3B no outs and then no runs sequence. Against the A’s.

Omar Old-Timey Member Posted September 6, 2023 Posted September 6, 2023 I missed it but why didn't Espy score on the Springer fly out to right field? Early in the game so send him to put pressure on the defence.

Omar Old-Timey Member Posted September 6, 2023 Posted September 6, 2023 didn't send him John Schneider has that unique talent of being aggressive and conservative at precisely the wrong times.
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted September 6, 2023 Posted September 6, 2023 I believe it must have been coming from the bench to run there There’s no sign to give that says a guy has to steal on a pitch unless it’s a planned double steal. The green light might hav been on but it’s still on the player to decide whether to run or not.

Carlos Danger Old-Timey Member Posted September 6, 2023 Posted September 6, 2023 Waldichuk carving us up like a Sunday night turkey in late October. That is a problem! It should be a Thursday night in November

John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted September 6, 2023 Posted September 6, 2023 Vladdy swinging at changeups in the left hand batters box machine… He gets a single but he swung at balls 2, 3 and 4.
Zacman Verified Member Posted September 6, 2023 Posted September 6, 2023 Vlad just isn't a smart hitter.
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted September 6, 2023 Posted September 6, 2023 I find it difficult to believe that this guys changeup is so filthy that it looked anything like a strike but ended up way outside. Vlad was just guessing that he was going to get something in the zone. Terrible approach
