Vlads swing is absolutely broken up in the zone. I cannot fathom how a guy hits so many balls that bounce in the dirt in front of home plate on pitches at the top off the zone

Vlady has a lazy swing, not using his lower body. Works on the back fields in the DR but not in the majors.

There’s no sign to give that says a guy has to steal on a pitch unless it’s a planned double steal. The green light might hav been on but it’s still on the player to decide whether to run or not.

I find it difficult to believe that this guys changeup is so filthy that it looked anything like a strike but ended up way outside. Vlad was just guessing that he was going to get something in the zone. Terrible approach
